Would you like to have radiant skin and hair? Listen up.
Dr. Susan Erdman’s work came to our attention when we were searching for clues on how to make skin and hair more beautiful. Why not? Part of the joy of following an ultra-healthy lifestyle is looking good at any age. So we were delighted to find the Erdman lab’s “Glow of Health” paper, which resonates with some of the concerns that many of you have expressed.
The Lab of Dr. Susan Erdman at MIT is a very active place. Many of their published studies are at the forefront of microbiome research. Here is how they describe themselves: “The Erdman Laboratory studies microbe triggered inflammatory processes and cancer. Our laboratory collaborates with world leaders pioneering research in the fields of GI tract microbiome and immunology in systemic health and disease.”
Dr. Erdman told us that her research is about improving quality of life – a refreshing and important perspective that Dr. Erdman herself practices. We especially like that she focuses on the microbiome, which has been a black box for many in the longevity and medical communities.
