Your Body Scan

 

Bhavani meditationHow is your body doing? No, we don’t mean if you look good or feel good, but rather how are you doing at the subconscious level. Is your gut microbiome healthy? How about your skin microbiome or perhaps your eye microbiome? Do you have irritations in these places?  How about your feet? Do they hurt? What about other parts of your body?

For a lot of people, answers to questions like these go unnoticed until it’s too late – until real damage takes place. So when we got an opportunity to feature meditation expert, Bhavani Lorraine Nelson, on Wednesday’s teleconference, we enthusiastically scheduled it.

Bhavani is known all over the world. You will find her at the famed Kripalu Yoga Center conducting classes on meditation and stress relief. And she often leads wonderful chanting sessions with her beautiful alto voice. Just listen.

On Wednesday, Bhavani will introduce Body Scan, which is the second CD in her groundbreaking Meditation Made Easy Series. Body Scan puts you in touch with important thoughts and feelings that are easy to overlook.

Every morning, Paul uses Body Scan to focus inwardly to gauge the health of his microbiome. If he finds any irritation, he chooses fermented foods that would reduce or eliminate it.

Others might use Body Scan for a totally different purpose. It might help set them at ease for an important business meeting or perhaps to reduce the angst of challenging emotional situations like caring for a sick loved one.
